It was the first time that an established German bank has made a significant investment in a bitcoin-only company - a strong signal for the future of bitcoin in Europe and further proof that traditional financial institutions are increasingly opening up to bitcoin.
Thanks to this partnership, we have been able to further pursue our mission of making access to bitcoin easy and secure for everyone - no matter who you are or how much you have.

Our Team is growing
In just one year, our team has grown to 21 dedicated experts who work every day to build the best bitcoin app in Europe. This has helped us reach our goals even faster and continue to improve our product.
Trading Volume on a new Level
Thanks to the support of our users and partners, we have been able to increase our annual trading volume to over €100 million. This impressive figure shows that more and more people are using 21bitcoin to access bitcoin safely and easily.
New Office, new Opportunities
We have recently moved into our new 21bitcoin office in Salzburg. As a fast-growing company in the heart of Europe, Salzburg is the perfect starting point for our further expansion plans.
Completely redesigned Website and fresh Content
Our new website provides a clear overview of the most exciting features of the 21bitcoin application. You'll find a comprehensive 21bitcoin security page, a detailed "about us" section and our newly launched blog with podcast, news and education sections. In this way, we provide you with everything you need to know about bitcoin. In addition, our help centre answers all important questions about using our application, so you are always well informed.
Successful Partnerships
We are proud of our partnerships with FC Red Bull Salzburg, Electric Love Festival and several podcasters. These collaborations have extended our reach and helped us bring bitcoin to a wider audience.
The future: MICAR License and even more Innovation
We are currently working hard to obtain the MICAR licence early next year. This licence will allow us to introduce additional features that are highly requested by our customers. It will also create a unified regulatory framework for the crypto market, which is an important step not only for 21bitcoin, but for the entire bitcoin industry.
