OTC stands for "Over the Counter" and refers to the customized execution of large Bitcoin transactions.
Instead of simply placing a standard app order, the transaction is personally prepared and processed. This is particularly relevant for larger volumes where liquidity, execution, and price are critical factors.
Trading fees decrease as your transaction volume increases:

There are no additional account, euro deposit, or custody fees. For Bitcoin withdrawals to your own wallet, 21bitcoin charges a flat fee of 1,000 sats.
Yes. Transactions over €1 million can also be individually arranged through 21private.
For very large volumes, we will discuss execution, liquidity, required documentation, and the process with you personally.
As a regulated crypto asset service provider, 21bitcoin is subject to legal due diligence and anti-money laundering obligations.
For larger transactions, additional information or proof of the source of funds may therefore be required. Your 21private contact person will personally guide you through this process and inform you in good time about which documents are needed.

Cold wallet custody is provided by BitGo Europe; your Bitcoin remain your economic property, are kept strictly separate from 21bitcoin’s own assets, and are never used for our own purposes—all backed by insurance coverage of up to 250 million USD, subject to the terms of the policy.
